Located in Simpsonville, SC, our office is more than just a dental practice—it’s part of a full-service family dental community! We share a building with The TOT Spot (specializing in laser frenectomy) and Holly Tree Pediatric Dentistry, owned by Dr. Ann Bynum and Dr. Megan Charowski, to provide pediatric dental care.

Dr. Matt Bynum
For over 28 years, Dr. Matt Bynum has been transforming smiles through his expertise in aesthetic, restorative, physiologic, and implant dentistry. A graduate of The University of Iowa College of Dentistry, he leads his private practice in Simpsonville, SC, with a personalized, patient-centered approach. Dr. Bynum is also the co-author of The Boomerang Effect and a sought-after international speaker on restorative dentistry and practice development. He’s an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the South Carolina Dental Association (SCDA), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).

Dr. Mollie Matz
Dr. Mollie Matz is a highly skilled general dentist who brings a wealth of experience in crowns, restorative treatments, implant placement, and complex treatment planning. Originally from Louisiana, she graduated from Louisiana State University Dental School in New Orleans and completed advanced training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Her love for the outdoors led her to move back to the South, eventually settling in Greenville. Dr. Matz is passionate about providing the highest quality care and treats each patient like a close friend or family member. She enjoys being part of a practice that shares her values of patient-centered care and aesthetic excellence.

Lead Certified Dental Assistant
A Greenville native, Sam has been a valued part of the Bynum Aesthetic Dentistry team since completing her training at Greenville Tech. Her passion for patient care shines through in every aspect of her role, whether assisting in surgeries or helping to create life-changing smile transformations. Sam loves building lasting relationships with patients and being part of their journey to healthier, happier smiles. She believes in the family-like, fun atmosphere at the practice, where top-notch dental care meets genuine warmth.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with her husband, Adam, and their two children. As a family, they love spending time on the lake, exploring new adventures, and embracing the great outdoors. When she’s not busy with family life, Sam enjoys gardening and diving into a good book.
Sarah
Registered Dental Hygienist
With over a decade of experience, Sarah has dedicated her career to improving lives through comprehensive dental care. As a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), she specializes in the prevention and treatment of oral diseases, working closely with the doctors to provide integrated care. Her true passion lies in building meaningful relationships with patients, helping create a comfortable, stress-free environment. Sarah loves being part of a practice that truly transforms lives, one smile at a time.
Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys time with her husband, the owner of Fork & Plough, a local Greenville restaurant, and their spirited daughter. Sarah is passionate about food and loves discovering new dining experiences. An avid traveler, she’s always exploring new destinations from her ever-growing bucket list, and when it’s time to unwind, a good Netflix binge is her go-to.
Rebekah
Periodontal Therapist
Rebekah, affectionately known as Reba, has been transforming smiles and improving oral health for over 22 years. A proud Southern native from Camden, SC, she brings warmth, expertise, and dedication to her role as a Periodontal Therapist. Certified in RDH, local anesthesia, and laser treatments, Rebekah is passionate about optimizing her patients’ oral health through customized care. Having worked in various dental offices, Rebekah says her greatest personal and professional growth has happened during her 13 years at Bynum Aesthetic Dentistry.
Rebekah and her husband, Gavin, have called Greenville home for 17 years, embracing the area’s outdoor activities like sporting events, trips to the mountains, and lake adventures. Together with their two children, they stay active in the community, church, and local sports teams. Whether she’s providing top-tier care at the office or enjoying time outdoors with her family, Rebekah’s commitment to her patients and her community is at the heart of everything she does.
Ashley
Director Of First Impressions
As the Director of First Impressions, Ashley is the friendly face that makes every patient feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door. With over two years of experience in the dental field, she is passionate about ensuring that each patient has a comfortable and positive experience. Whether she’s chatting with patients or calming nerves before appointments, Ashley’s warm personality and genuine care set the tone for every visit.
Originally from Jacksonville, FL, Ashley moved to Simpsonville, SC, in 2020 to be closer to the mountains. She spends her weekends enjoying the natural beauty of the Upstate, camping at Lake Hartwell or Jocassee, and exploring outdoor activities like gardening, hiking, and rock climbing. Ashley loves the family-like atmosphere at Bynum Aesthetic Dentistry and says it was the incredible team and welcoming environment that made her realize this was the perfect place for her.
Maddie
Administrative Liaison
Maddie joined the Bynum team in June 2024, bringing her passion for providing exceptional customer service to the dental office. As the first point of contact for patients, Maddie ensures every visit starts on a positive note, from greeting patients and managing appointments to answering inquiries and providing administrative support. While she’s new to the dental field, Maddie’s background in office management has made her a natural fit for the fast-paced, patient-centered environment at Bynum.
Outside of work, Maddie enjoys spending time with her family, including her son and their playful dog, Opie. Her family loves to spend their summers on Lake Hartwell, where they enjoy fishing, hunting, and relaxing by the water. A true Upstate native, Maddie is always exploring local spots like Vaughn’s in Simpsonville and indulging in her favorite pizza at The Slice.
