A Hub for Complete Family Dental Care in Simpsonville
Located in Simpsonville, SC, our office is more than just a dental practice—it’s part of a full-service family dental community! We share a building with The TOT Spot (specializing in laser frenectomy) and Holly Tree Pediatric Dentistry, owned by Dr. Ann Bynum and Dr. Megan Charowski, to provide pediatric dental care.
Providing expert dental care for children of all ages, Holly Tree ensures every visit is gentle, comforting, and tailored to young patients’ needs.

Dr. Matt Bynum
For over 28 years, Dr. Matt Bynum has been transforming smiles through his expertise in aesthetic, restorative, physiologic, and implant dentistry. A graduate of The University of Iowa College of Dentistry, he leads his private practice in Simpsonville, SC, with a personalized, patient-centered approach. Dr. Bynum is also the co-author of The Boomerang Effect and a sought-after international speaker on restorative dentistry and practice development. He’s an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the South Carolina Dental Association (SCDA), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).

Dr. Mollie Schmidt
Dr. Mollie Schmidt is a highly skilled general dentist who brings a wealth of experience in crowns, restorative treatments, implant placement, and complex treatment planning. Originally from Louisiana, she graduated from Louisiana State University Dental School in New Orleans and completed advanced training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Her love for the outdoors led her to move back to the South, eventually settling in Greenville. Dr. Schmidt is passionate about providing the highest quality care and treats each patient like a close friend or family member. She enjoys being part of a practice that shares her values of patient-centered care and aesthetic excellence.

Sam

Originally from Simpsonville, Sam has lived in the Greenville area her whole life. She
started her dental career at Bynum Aesthetic dentistry in 2011 as a CDA. She has worked both the front and back offices. Now she is a Lead Assistant. Her experience as a dental assistant, along with her great patient hospitality, has
made her a great resource for patients and her team. When she’s not at work, Sam enjoys time with her husband, Adam and their two kids, Wyatt and Emory.
Sarah
Registered Dental Hygienist
With over a decade of experience, Sarah has dedicated her career to improving lives through comprehensive dental care. As a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), she specializes in the prevention and treatment of oral diseases, working closely with the doctors to provide integrated care. Her true passion lies in building meaningful relationships with patients, helping create a comfortable, stress-free environment. Sarah loves being part of a practice that truly transforms lives, one smile at a time.
Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys time with her husband, the owner of Fork & Plough, a local Greenville restaurant, and their spirited daughter. Sarah is passionate about food and loves discovering new dining experiences. An avid traveler, she’s always exploring new destinations from her ever-growing bucket list, and when it’s time to unwind, a good Netflix binge is her go-to.
Rebekah
dental hygienist
Rebekah is a proud Southern native from Camden, South Carolina. Healthcare, specifically Dentistry and Optometry, runs in Rebekah’s family and is what drew her to the profession 25 years ago! She worked as a Certified Dental Assistant while getting her degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina…GO COCKS! After two years of dental school applications, it was Greenville Technical College’s Dental Hygiene Bridge program that brought her to the upstate. Rebekah and her husband, Gavin, have called Greenville home for 18 years, embracing the area’s outdoor activities like sporting events, trips to the mountain, and lake adventures. Together with their two children, they stay active in the community, church, and local sports teams. Rebekah says her greatest personal and professional growth has happened during her 14 years at Bynum Aesthetic Dentistry. Rebekah is passionate about optimizing her patients’ oral health through customized care. Whether she’s providing top-tier care at the office or enjoying time outdoors with her family and friends, Rebekah’s commitment to her patients and her community is at the heart of everything she does.
Carson
Dental Assistant
Carson was born in Greenville South Carolina. She has been interested in Dentistry since High School, and has always wanted to be in the Dental Field. Carson has been in the Dental Industry for a little over a year now, after going to a summer course last year she got her certificate in Dental Assisting. Carson started out shadowing Bynum while still in school. Carson’s favorite part about Bynum is the atmosphere, everyone is always there for each other and always willing to put a smile on each other’s face. Outside of work Carson loves to travel and experience new places, she also loves speeding time with her family and her dog “Sadie.”

Administrative Liaison
Originally from Laurens, South Carolina, Maddie transitioned from the insurance industry to dental care and has been with Bynum for over a year. She loves greeting patients with a smile and enjoys the fun, welcoming atmosphere created by her team. Outside the office, Maddie enjoys lake days, hunting, and spending time with her husband and son.

Olivia is originally from Fort Mill, SC, and recently relocated to Duncan after graduating from Converse University with a degree in Biology. She has 2–3 years of experience in dentistry and joined Bynum as a Sterile Technician while pursuing her goal of attending dental school. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, shopping, trying new restaurants, playing pickleball, and soccer.
Raegan
hygienist
Raegan was born and raised in Simpsonville, South Carolina, and began her journey toward becoming a dental hygienist while she was still in high school. After graduating, she went straight into the Dental Hygiene program at Greenville Technical College, where she discovered her passion for providing compassionate, quality patient care. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene to expand her knowledge and create more opportunities for her future. Raegan is passionate about creating a positive, comfortable, and stress-free experience for every patient while educating them on the important connection between oral health and overall health. Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking, traveling, playing pickleball, and spending time with her family.
